50 Plus Media and Wellness Group is a Jamaican-owned umbrella company founded by Claudette A. Bailey-Nolan, entrepreneur, author, women’s advocate, and content creator.
We operate across media, wellness, herbal products, beauty, and community support. Every brand under this group was built from lived experience, not theory. Every product, programme, and piece of content we produce carries the same commitment: to reach the woman who has been overlooked, underserved, or told that her time has passed.

The Founder
Claudette A. Bailey-Nolan is a Jamaican entrepreneur, author, Women’s Advocate, and content creator based in Kingston, Jamaica.
She is the:
- Founder of 50 Plus Media and Wellness Group and all brands operating under it.
- Author of Rooted Again, a guide to Jamaican medicinal herbs available on Amazon.
- Founder of Claudette’s Jamaican Herbs, a Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Health certified herb business.
- Founder of Yow My Girl Beauty. A subdivision of Claudette’s Jamaican Herbs
- Host of Jamaican Gypsy Granny and 50 Plus Rebirth on YouTube.
- Creator of the Rebirthers Wellness Retreat, launching October 2026.
- Founder of Perpetual Lifeline, a women’s support program she built because she once needed it and could not find it.
Claudette’s working life began straight out of high school as a Public Inspector trainee, a path she left after facing sexual harassment in the workplace. She went on to hold several positions across different industries, navigating harassment at more than one stop along the way. She rose to Operations Manager for a chain of seven restaurants, a role she was forced out of when she became pregnant. It was those experiences, repeated and unaddressed, that shaped everything that came after.
She became an entrepreneur because employment kept proving itself unsafe. She became a women’s advocate because she lived what so many women live and refused to pretend otherwise. From swimwear and exotic costume design to herbal products, content creation, publishing, and now a wellness retreat. Everything she has built has come from the same place. A refusal to be defined by what she survived and a determination to reach back for the next woman.
